John and Fiona welcome you to our small, non-smoking, Bed and Breakfast near the villages of Llandecwyn and Talsarnau in Gwynedd, North Wales, in the Snowdonia National Park, not far from Harlech and Maentwrog. Our B&B is situated at the end of a gated track across a field, overlooking fields and woods, on a public footpath allowing beautiful walks from the front door.
We have private parking, safe storage for bicycles and a lovely colourful garden to relax in. (We sometimes have plants for sale so you might find something unusual for your own garden.)
We have our own friendly dog who lives in the house so unfortunately we cannot acccept pets.
Our B&B is a pefect base from which to explore this beautiful area. We are a short drive from the small town of Harlech, the famous Portmeirion village, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways, beaches, castles and golf courses.
The Wales Coast Path and the start of the 24 mile long Taith Ardudwy Way is close by.
There are numerous walks in the area to suit all abilities. As keen walkers ourselves we can always give suggestions/directions on where to explore.
If mountain biking is your choice then we are approximately 10 miles from the new Antur 'Stiniog downhill trails and 15 miles from the Coed Y Brenin mountain biking centre.
You can also cycle or walk on the newly completed 12 Km loop around Llyn Trawsfynydd or enjoy a day's fishing on the lake.
